Job Description:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
This is a remote position on a 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention focused team. This position is responsible for managing, developing, coordinating and conducting training following best practice for suicide prevention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for development and oversight of new hire training and working with the Director, Clinical Supervisor, Program Manager to coordinate schedules to meet needs of both the department and new hires.
- Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs
- Responsible for collection of data
- Demonstrates high level of clinical knowledge and skill in providing call/chat/text clinical screenings, risk assessments, and crisis intervention to contacts
- Facilitates bi-weekly skills building sessions, staff trainings and staff development functions
- Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to problem solve complex issues and deliver effective decision making.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level
Bachelor’s degree in mental health or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist for at least 3 years is required. Master’s degree preferred.
Years of Experience
Three years of relevant experience is required. One year of experience in the field of mental health, mental health trauma, or crisis management and suicide prevention is required.
