The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Trade Operations Import Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Maintaining Solventum’s Customs Broker SOPs
- Work on import-related topics as part of a cross-function team including legal counsel (internal and external), Global Trade Compliance, and other impacted business partners
- Work with Global Trade Compliance to research Partner Government Agencies (PGA) requirements with Solventum business partners and determine processes to share relevant data with brokers including FIFRA, USDA, FDA, APHIS/Lacey Act
- Identify missing Harmonized Tariff codes for goods and products managed by Solventum and work closely with Global Trade partners to remedy
- Research and coordinate with Global Trade Compliance on PSC/Protests/Voluntary tenders/disclosures to determine whether they are warranted and coordinate their execution.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university and 5 relevant years experience
OR
- High School/ GED and 9 years of relevant experience
AND
- 5 years of Import Trade Compliance experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree
- Licensed US Customs broker
- Familiarity with Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)
- US Import experience at a US Customs Broker or as an Import Specialist at US Customs (CBP).
- Over 3 years of experience in developing control plans, standard operating procedures, or training materials
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and various collaboration tools
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to solve complex problems impacting multiple workstreams
- Experienced in applying Green Belt-level Six Sigma tools
Work location: Remote
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
