Trade Compliance Attorney

We are currently seeking Trade Compliance Lawyers to join our bench of attorneys working for our F500 clients in-house across various industries.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide legal guidance and support to our clients on matters related to export controls, sanctions, customs compliance, and other trade regulations
• Conduct thorough reviews of international trade transactions, agreements, and documentation to identify potential compliance risks
• Advise on trade compliance requirements and best practices
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement effective solutions

Minimum Qualifications:  

• 7+ years of experience practicing law with a focus on international trade compliance, including familiarity with EAR, ITAR, FTR, and/or AFAC 
• Strong knowledge of import and export controls, economic sanctions, customs regulations, and other relevant trade laws and regulations
• Ability to stay current on changes to trade laws and regulations, and advise management on potential impacts on business operations
• Active bar license 

Compensation, Benefits & Location:  

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $175,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
