Trade Compliance Attorney
US - US - Remote
We are currently seeking Trade Compliance Lawyers to join our bench of attorneys working for our F500-ranked clients in the aerospace, defense and life sciences industries.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance and support to our clients on matters related to export controls, sanctions, customs compliance, and other trade regulations
- Conduct thorough reviews of international trade transactions, agreements, and documentation to identify potential compliance risks
- Conduct investigations and draft voluntary disclosures
- Advise on trade compliance requirements and best practices
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement effective solutions
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience practicing law with a focus on international trade compliance, including familiarity with EAR, ITAR, FTR, and/or AFAC
- Strong knowledge of import and export controls, economic sanctions, customs regulations, and other relevant trade laws and regulations
- Ability to stay current on changes to trade laws and regulations, and advise management on potential impacts on business operations
- Active bar license preferred but not required
Compensation, Benefits & Location:
This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $150,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more.
