Davies is looking for a TPA Supervisor (Transportation) to lead a team of experienced claims professionals handling Commercial Auto Physical Damage, Motor Truck Cargo, and Truckers General Liability claims. This is a full-time, remote position that plays a key role in driving exceptional customer service, claims accuracy, and team development.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical claims expertise, a proactive leadership style, and a passion for coaching others. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the team, providing guidance on claim handling, and supporting team members in achieving business and service objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, develop and mentor staff to achieve desired company results
- Review and authorize claim settlements within designated authority level
- Set work performance metrics and expectations, and provide formal and informal evaluation of staff
- Train and motivate staff
- Demonstrate professional demeanor, high ethical standards and enthusiasm
- Maximize relationships with customers and internal staff
- Monitor workloads, performance metrics and team’s productivity
- Comply with state specific regulations and state fair claim practices requirements
- Review claim files to ensure compliance with appropriate best practices and claim handling file expectations
- Participate in individual and department training as needed
- Supervisory Responsibility: Direct reports includes a team of adjusters
- You may be asked to perform tasks outside of your usual duties in support of the overall objectives of the organization
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of APD and MTC claims
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent Listening skills.
- Availability to work after hours and on the weekend as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Current TX adjuster license and ability to quickly obtain other states adjuster licenses as required.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and easily acclimates to changes in process/systems for overall improvement of the organization.
- Ability to learn new technologies.
