Position Summary

The Total Rewards Specialist provides administrative and project support to the Director, Total Rewards and Payroll Administrator, Lead to ensure that compensation and benefit programs align with and support the organization’s business objectives and comply with all legal requirements.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support for several human resources functions, including, but not limited to benefits, wellness programs, compensation, billing, incentive programs, payroll, leave management, training, reporting, and employee records/data management

• May oversee and/or participate in meetings with vendors

• Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role

• Collaborates with HR team to optimize workflow processes

• Adheres to and upholds all applicable federal and state compliance regulations, the NSPC Code of Conduct, the NSPC Employee Handbook, compliance policies and procedures, and applicable healthcare fraud, waste and abuse laws.

• Understands, complies with, and enforces all NSPC policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and OSHA and HIPAA privacy rules.

• Ensures adherence to all compliance standards among all NSPC colleagues and staff, including those managed or overseen.

• All other duties as assigned.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of benefit and payroll related experience

• 1-3 years remote work experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

TECH

• 1-3 years HRIS experience, Paylocity preferred

• Vendor benefit system experience, 401k preferred

• Report-writing, basic level

• Excel, intermediate

• Teams experience, preferred
