Tools Programmer - Sanzaru

Oculus Studios and Sanzaru Games has an immediate Tools Programmer position working on virtual reality games. Only developers who want to craft immersive experiences and bring gameplay to life should apply. • Building, maintaining, and modifying continuous integration systems to improve studio workflows
• Profiling and improving both game runtime and editor performance
• Debugging and optimizing gameplay systems
• Thinking creatively and critically to expand user experiences into new virtual reality medium
• Working closely with engineers and designers to contribute on game architecture and technical design
• Ability to identify opportunities for workflow improvement and generate tools to accomplish them.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year of game industry experience
• Experienced shipping a Console, PC or VR game
• Experienced with C++
• Experience with Unreal Engine
• Experienced blending and extending an existing codebase
• Experienced collaborating with team members across multiple disciplines to bring gameplay to life
• BS Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced shipping a VR title
• Experienced with TeamCity CI
• Experienced with game engine performance profiling
