About the team

As a part of the Zillow Home Loans team, you will play an active role in a vital part of the loan manufacturing process to help Zillow Home Loans customers reach their financial goals!

About the role

The Loan Processing team reviews loan file documentation (i.e. credit, employment, income, and assets) within a Mortgage Loan being processed, directs all efforts related to driving the fulfillment of loans from the point of submission for Initial Underwriting Decision to Final Approval. In this role, you will review borrower and loan information and order third party documents from various sources. You will update the loan origination software (LOS) and support the Processing team in servicing ZHL’s customers.

Job Description

  • Validate data obtained from the customer, Loan Originator, and all third-party sources

  • Order and upload required loan documents based on loan type and program

  • Work with third parties such as title companies, employers, insurance companies, etc. ensuring all necessary information is available for Underwriting to make a decision on the loan file

  • Order condo documents, title documents, evidence of insurance and other necessary third party documents/verifications needed for loan approval

  • Update records in Encompass (LOS) and keep the fulfillment team apprised on progress

  • Partner with the Sales Team and downstream Processing and Underwriting Teams to ensure loan file quality

  • Maintain company service level and turn-time standards; specific measurables include return-call times, return-email times, and task ordering/completion times

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of customer and employee information and ensure job duties are aligned with compliance/regulatory requirements

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $19.60 - $29.40 Hourly. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
