JOB SUMMARY:  The Third Party Operations Specialist is responsible for executing operational components of the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) lifecycle: initial risk assessment, periodic due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding. This role is part of the Chief Risk Officer’s organization and reports to the SVP, Director of Operational Resilience in the 2nd Line of Defense.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute operational components of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) lifecycle: initial risk assessment, periodic due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding
  • Partner with business stakeholders to help them navigate the centralized TPRM process
  • Review inherent risk questionnaire (IRQ) responses
  • Initiate and coordinate vendor due diligence reviews
  • Perform non-technical third party due diligence reviews
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SME) to coordinate their reviews
  • Prepare annual vendor packages
  • Document, monitor, and report on third party issues and policy exceptions
  • Document TPRM procedures and controls
  • Perform reconciliation to maintain a complete and accurate third party book of record
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent works experience required
  • 4+ years of proven work experience in third party operations required
  • Hands on experience with RSA Archer and JIRA required
  • Strong excel knowledge required
  • Familiarity with Interagency Guidance on Third-Party Relationships: Risk Management (FIL-29-2023) preferred
  • Prior project management experience preferred

The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $80,000 (entry level qualifications) to $120,000 (highly experienced).
