Location: Hybrid – Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO (Onsite Tuesday–Thursday, Remote Monday & Friday)Employment Type: Full-Time Consultant

Trissential is hiring a Test Lead to join our client’s team, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and success of major software integration projects. Your Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the testing phase, ensuring thorough quality assurance for major system upgrades and replacements
- Develop comprehensive test plans, write test cases, and manage the execution of testing schedules
- Conduct manual and automated testing for software functionality, installation, and usability
- Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
- Manage bug and error tracking, ensuring all issues are documented and addressed
- Collaborate with business users, project managers, and external vendors to ensure smooth testing processes
- Report testing progress and findings to leadership and key stakeholders
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 7-9 years of software testing experience, with at least a few years in a Test Lead role
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to take initiative and drive testing efforts
- Experience with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software, new software deployments, and system upgrades
- Expertise in software integration testing within large corporate environments
- Familiarity with waterfall methodology (preferred) and agile methodologies
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and scripting tools like Python
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in the utilities industry or with energy-related software systems
- Background in both manual and automated testing methodologies
- Knowledge of GIS mapping, asset data coordination, or fieldwork-related software
