Reporting to the Site Test Equipment Sustainment Manager, Moog Military Aircraft in East Aurora, New York is looking for a:

Test Equipment Sustainment Project Manager
 

Responsibilities:

Spare Parts Management

  • Analyze and manage spare parts for complex electro-hydraulic Assembly & Test (A&T) test equipment and data acquisition systems.
  • Develop and implement effective spare parts strategies for site test equipment.
  • Establish and maintain minimum spare parts stock levels to ensure equipment availability.

Obsolescence Management

  • Collaborate with the Moog India Technical Center (MITC) Obsolescence team to upload Bills of Materials (BOMs) for obsolescence monitoring and reporting.
  • Generate custom reports from MITC data to inform both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Test Equipment (TE) Design Engineering team and Supply Chain to address obsolescence risks (e.g., Last Time Buy/Redesign).

Department Training Coordinator

  • Develop and manage training programs to meet the skill development needs of TE Sustainment Technicians.

Preventive Maintenance (PM) Coordinator

  • Partner with A&T to create and implement PM plans based on equipment breakdown history, criticality, and redundancy factors.
  • Utilize the Asset Visibility Management System (AVMS) system to schedule, track, and optimize PM activities.
  • Continuously review and adjust PM plans based on feedback and operational needs.

Technical Review Board (TRB) Representative

  • Represent TE Sustainment at both commercial and military TRB meetings, reviewing new and unresolved problem reports (PRs).
  • Conduct regular review meetings with TE Sustainment personnel to ensure timely resolution of action items from PRs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related discipline
    • At least 3 Years experience maintaining complex Electro-Hydraulic Test Systems.
    • Solid understanding of functionality and theoretical concepts and principles of complex Electro-Hydraulic Test Systems.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: JIRA, Pirana, Maximo, NX or Autocad is required.
  • Candidate shall be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word and VISO.
  • Candidate shall be proficient in the use of PC operating platforms (DOS/ Windows/ Microsoft Environments). 

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $85,000.00–$120,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
