The Opportunity:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understand user stories/requirements
• Provide input to acceptance criteria and ensure it is testable
• Document and communicate testing results
• Prep and coordinate test events with team and stakeholders for UATs
• Tests software releases during the product development.
• Designs test plans, procedures, scenarios, test cases and scripts to accurately assess new products or software updates according to customer requirements and company policies.
• Establishes test processes
• Participates in agile project & task planning and execution.
• Interfaces with customers, vendors, and various company departments to resolve problems that cause test failures.
• Works both independently on projects and in a team setting
• Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes throughout testing and create a comprehensive database of defects and successful mitigation techniques.
• Identifies, analyzes, and produces detailed records of problems that appear during testing, such as software defects, bugs, functionality issues, and output errors, and work directly with software developers to find solutions and develop retesting procedures.
• Efficiently adapt to new priorities. This includes effectively multitasking project responsibilities with an awareness to support changes as needed.
• Establish and provide feedback to test processes to benefit team and final products
• Communicate clearly and effectively with test personnel, users, developers, and clients to facilitate quick resolution of problems and accurate documentation of successes.
• Provides frequent feedback to developers, including recommendations for improvements, evaluation of problems, potential solutions, and discussion of further test requirements.
• Displays critical thinking skills and superior communication capabilities
• Maintain and update test cases through project lifecycles
• Create test data to validate functional and technical requirements.
• Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes throughout testing and create a comprehensive database of defects and successful mitigation techniques.
• Establish and provide feedback to test processes to benefit team and final products
• Efficiently adapt to new priorities. This includes effectively multitasking project responsibilities with an awareness to support changes as needed.
• Identify risks and provide mitigation strategies and options.
• Participate in agile project & task planning and execution.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2 to 4 years of related experience
• Secret clearance
• 10% Travel
Desired:
• Experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), also known as Azure DevOps or similar software project management tool (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment preferred
• Navy and/or Navy Reserve experience / background

The proposed salary range for this position is:
