This position is remote.
Join a dynamic team working on a variety of challenging national environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance projects. Assist with environmental and safety air emissions permitting and program development and ongoing EHS compliance needs for industrial, manufacturing, institutional, federal, and municipal clients. We are looking for a candidate with a strong work ethic, excellent client service skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead stack emissions compliance projects
- Interacting and communicating directly with clients, including in-person visits, as needed
- Interacting with regulators on behalf of clients
- Assisting with proposal writing
- Managing/training staff and conducting start-to-finish air stack emissions projects
- Assist with air permit-related tasks, such as routine testing and reporting, protocols, and other required submittals
- Independently assist facility and Verdantas staff with review and requirements for EPA stack testing and methodologies
- Have a deep understanding of air emissions assessments and EPA-prescribed methodologies
- Understand the process of air testing regulations
- Advanced knowledge of air emissions test methods
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 15 to 20 years of experience in emission stack testing
- Knowledge of federal and state test methodologies
- Proficient in Excel, MS Office suite, and environmental reporting software (state portals)
