Territory Sales Manager

Our Territory Sales Manager (TSM) at Hypertherm Associates sells, promotes, and supports OMAX abrasive Waterjets and accessories. The territory for this role is the Midwest territories.
As a Hypertherm Associates’ TSM, you will:
Work closely with exclusive Channel Partners to convert a high level of opportunities into new equipment sales
Build a strong relationship with Channel Partners to continue overproportioned mindshare to our Waterjet product line
Provide support to distribution support team
Deliver new equipment sales against growth and quota responsibilities by selling independently
Train account managers on unique Waterjet characteristics to include in specifications
Who you are and what you bring to the position:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Sales/Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 - 10 years of quota driven industrial/capital equipment sales experience
Ability to work independently as well as mentor others
Problem-solver who is comfortable selling to individuals or complex committee driven organizations
Knowledge of machine tools, manufacturing process or capital equipment sales
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM systems
Experience and/or knowledge of Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Customer/Relationship and Competitive/Industry knowledge
Personal integrity, self-motivation, respectfulness, dedication, team player attitude, and the ability to embrace change
Strong relationship development capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to an audience of any size
Current driver’s license (in good standing)
Physical Demands and Travel:
Travel: more than 50% per year (primarily driving) with No cap on commission
Mileage reimbursement
Ability to work from a home office in one of the following states: Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, or Wisconsin
Located within 1 hour of a major airport
Operate Waterjet equipment within safety guidelines

$50,058.00-$72,306.00 AnnualThis is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.
Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
