Job Description
The Agency Sales Inside Territory Senior Consultant is responsible for soliciting new business from agents and maintaining current business levels by meeting territory volume and profit objectives, while maintaining and growing a relationship between National General Insurance, potential agents, current agents, and internal customers. This position requires residence in Michigan and includes heavy travel to visit our National General independent agents!Key Responsibilities
• Achieves agreed upon new business production, direct written premium, loss ratio goals, and other KPIs on an annual basis by effectively managing the agents of an assigned territory
• Terminates agents for lack of production, unprofitable results, or other cause
• Increases the percentage of producing agents within the territory through additional training and process improvements
• Recommends agencies to participate in profit-sharing, rewards, and special incentives programs, and other agency sales initiatives
• Solicits new agencies, evaluates their potential to write quality new business, and recommends qualified new agencies for appointment to the Regional Sales Managers and/or Sales Vice Presidents
Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $60,300.00 - 75,400.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.At National General, great things happen when our people work together.
