What this Job Entails: 

The Security Engineer IV is responsible for protecting technological assets by establishing and enforcing system and network access controls. The Security Engineer will focus on the delivery of core security improvements and operations. This will include the management of firewalls, vulnerability assessments review and remediation, encryption methodologies, systems and network security.

  • Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways

  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Tenable Security Center leveraging Nessus agents

    RHEL/CentOS Initial config and Tenable software install and Config Tenable agent installation on endpoints network configuration to comm back to the Tenable Console server and custom tuning of scans Tenable Nessus Mgr., Tenable Nessus Scanner, Tenable Nessus Monitor
    Design and implement or build on existing Data Lake (Secure and leveraged by diverse PG&E teams)
    Linux OS
    Knowledge of NERC and TSA compliance
    Any staff augmentation contractor will be required to produce or contribute to a standardized design document using a WORD formatted template.
    Must be proficient in creating technical design drawings using Visio software
    Must know how to create scripts to automate tasks using either Bash, Python, PowerShell, PowerAutomate, Ansible, etc.
    Must know how to navigate SharePoint sites and post/update documents to them
    Must know how to use Remote Desktop (RDP) or SSH
    Must possess our PGE virtues:

Salary Range

$122,265.00 - $193,050.00 USD (Salary)
