TITLE: Temporary Senior Marketing Operations Director
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTS TO: Chief Marketing and Experience Officer
SALARY RANGE: $ 94,400-118,000 USD (Placement within this range is dependent upon experience and location)
LOCATION: Remote or Hybrid, NYC
POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND DURATION: This role is defined as a full-time, temporary position with a six-month duration, subject to review and evaluation at the end of the term.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Catalyst is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Marketing Operations Director to lead cross-functional initiatives, including product releases and marketing campaigns. The Sr Marketing Operations Director will work closely with teams across research, marketing, communications, product, and sales to ensure the successful execution of high-impact initiatives that advance Catalyst’s mission.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across departments (e.g., research, marketing, communications, product, and sales) to drive project success. Serving as a point of contact for teams.
- Campaign & Product Launches: Oversee project management for product releases, marketing campaigns, and other major initiatives, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, communication, and overall project execution.
- Risk Management: Anticipate potential project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor project KPIs, analyze progress, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Tool & Resource Management: Utilize project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com) to track progress and maintain seamless execution. Coordinate with 3rd parties including vendors and partners for flawless execution of projects.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- 7+ years of experience in project management
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively across departments and leadership levels.
- Experience with product launches, marketing campaigns, or strategic initiatives is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
