Temporary Regulatory Compliance Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver assessments for regulatory compliance across various financial institutions.
- Oversee engagements from planning to execution, including report preparation and conducting exit meetings.
- Identify non-compliance areas and offer actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrate expertise in lending and deposit compliance.
- Communicate with clients about the review process and suggest improvements.
- Provide timely, high-quality service that meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and pursue continuing education and certifications.
Experience Required:
- Expertise in regulatory compliance within consulting, financial institutions, or regulatory environments.
- Experience in developing and evaluating policies and procedures to meet regulatory needs.
- Supervisory experience in a financial institution.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or a law degree.
- 5 to 7 years of regulatory compliance experience in financial institutions.
- Knowledge of laws related to money laundering, including the BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC requirements, and Suspicious Activity Reporting.
- Experience with public accounting firms, financial institutions, or regulatory agencies.
- Project management and staff management experience.
- Exemplary client service skills.
- CRCM or other regulatory compliance certification.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
