Temporary Manager – PRC | RCSA & Enterprise Internal Controls (Global Banks)

This temporary role supports RSM’s Global Banking Risk Consulting Practice, focusing on Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Enterprise Internal Controls (EIC), and Process Risk and Controls (PRC) Consulting. The Manager will lead engagements with high-profile global banking clients, addressing risk identification, enterprise risk management (ERM), and operational risk while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Management & Controls

  • Lead comprehensive risk identification (Risk ID) and assessments aligned with enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks.
  • Oversee the execution of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes to identify operational risks and control deficiencies.
  • Design and implement risk and control matrices to support adherence to Heightened Standards.
  • Develop strategies to enhance frameworks addressing operational risks and regulatory compliance gaps.

Audit & Issues Remediation

  • Manage evaluations and testing of internal controls, ensuring alignment with audit standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee audit readiness efforts, including addressing findings and implementing issue remediation strategies.
  • Provide leadership in documenting business processes and control environments, with a focus on heightened regulatory scrutiny areas.

Technical Leadership & Team Management

  • Analyze systems and data supporting risk management, including Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and operational loss data.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Heightened Standards and Operational Risk frameworks, ensuring client readiness for regulatory changes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes, while fostering collaboration and innovation.

Required Expertise

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing client engagements and delivering on complex projects.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in identifying, documenting, and evaluating risks and controls; strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and Heightened Standards.
  • Certifications: Advanced certifications
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver executive-level reports and presentations.
