The Opportunity

We're looking for a Technology Infrastructure Administrator who can leverage their network, systems, and cloud infrastructure skills to provide a rock-solid technology infrastructure foundation for Ulteig's rapidly expanding workforce.

As a Technology Infrastructure Administrator with Ulteig, you’ll collaborate with others on the technology team to ensure the availability, security, and efficient operation of Ulteig’s enterprise technology infrastructure. You will focus on providing stellar support and maintenance across Ulteig’s technology infrastructure, spanning servers, data storage, cloud services, collaboration technologies, and endpoints.

 

What You'll Do

  • Proactively monitor, maintain, and support Ulteig’s technology infrastructure. Identify areas of improvement and opportunities for increased efficiency. This includes the following technologies and technology areas:
    • Server, cloud, and data storage technologies, such as Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service, and VMware
    • Identity and access technologies, such as Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
    • Networking technologies, such as Cisco routers and switches, Meraki wireless access points, and Cisco firewall technologies
    • Collaboration Technologies, such as Microsoft Teams voice, video, and conference room technology
    • Endpoint management technologies, such as Windows client operating system management, Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy, and Microsoft Intune
  • Take on tasks and projects across the above areas
  • Deploy new servers and services across physical, virtual, and cloud environments, collaborating with colleagues on the infrastructure team
  • Maintain compliance with information security standards, including auditing configurations, evaluating and resolving vulnerabilities, and ensuring consistent patch installation and management
  • Resolve infrastructure issues escalated from the support team, collaborating and supporting them to ensure excellent user experience
  • Create and update infrastructure documentation
  • Triage and resolve infrastructure alerts and issues within business hours and outside of business hours

 

 

 What We Expect from You

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in system administration, networking, and/or IT infrastructure
  • Server, Network, or IT certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, or industry organizations like CompTIA are a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including Windows Client and Server Operating Systems, TCP/IP Networking, DNS, Public Key Cryptography Certificates, Identity and Access Management, and cloud computing principals
