Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Writing Manager to lead a talented team of technical writers responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing high-quality learning material for our product and services. This role requires a leader who can balance strategic direction with hands-on execution, managing a global team to deliver clear, accurate, and user-friendly content that meets the evolving needs of our customers and internal stakeholders.
As the Technical Writing Manager, you will oversee the development of a broad range of documentation types, including but not limited to user manuals, knowledge base articles, tutorials, and in-product help. You will collaborate closely with the product team, engineering, and other key departments to ensure content is aligned with product goals and meets the needs of both internal and external users.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead a remote team of technical writers spread across the US and Europe.

Set team goals, define priorities, and manage resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.

Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture through coaching, feedback, and professional development.

Content Strategy and Roadmap:

Help define and drive the strategic direction for learning and knowledge content across various platforms (e.g., web, in-product, and learning management systems).

Work closely with product leadership to ensure documentation aligns with product releases, customer needs, and business goals.

Continuously evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of documentation, integrating user feedback and analytics to refine content and delivery methods.

Oversee the creation and maintenance of documentation standards, style guides, and templates to ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity across all documentation.

Implement and maintain tools and systems for content management, version control, and localization.
