We are at the forefront of industry innovations, with simplified streaming using the cloud or software as a service, or next-generation gigabit services for the broadband market. To learn more, go to “About Harmonic”. Role DescriptionTechnical trainers at Harmonic work closely with internationally based sales, services, operations, product management, and R&D teams to define learning needs, create and deliver Instructor Led Training (ILT) courses, and create online courses.
In this role, you will define training proposals for sales quotes and participate in training project management, as well as content lifecycle management from creation to archive. You will also deliver both remote and onsite training, which may require travel to customer locations or other Harmonic offices. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating online learning materials and other content dedicated to customer education.


LocationRemote – this position is Remote with periodic travel. What you will be doing·        Deliver training classes to Harmonic customers, partners, and internal teams.·        Create, maintain, and improve Harmonics training content deliverables.·        Develop online learning materials and other educational content for customers.·        Proctor certification exams.·        Collaborate with other Harmonic trainers and team members company-wide.·        Support the training team with training lab development and maintenance in Rennes office.·       Engage with customers, partners, and internal learners to teach classes, onboard into the Harmonic training platform, schedule trainings and answer training related questions. What you will need to succeed·       Bachelors degree in computer science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent experience.·       Previous training or teaching experience preferred.·       Previous experiences with creating training deliverables, using leaning management systems, Adobe captivate and/or other tools.·       Strong technical knowledge and curiosity.·       Fluent English.·       Fluent Spanish is preferred (additional languages are welcome).·       Knowledge of DOCSIS/CMTS, Networking, Video and QAM based configuration and troubleshooting.·       Expertise in IP network switching and routing protocols, TCP/IP stack.·       Experience in configuration and administration of ISO image, Kubernetes, Ubuntu and Linux-based servers.·       Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.·       Must demonstrate the ability to enthusiastically engage a technical audience. Will be asked to present on a technical topic during interview.  TravelYou may be required to travel up to 50% of the time. Pay & Benefits For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $85,000 - $100,000.
