Compensation: The starting base salary range for a Technical Systems Analyst I is $47,000 to $62,000. The starting base salary range for a Technical Systems Analyst II is is $61,00 to $72,000. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and company tenure & equity. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for a annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance.
Work Location:
- Full time onsite work is required for at least first 6 months. Afterwards a minimum of 3 days onsite is required.

This is a multi-level position with increasing levels of responsibility and requirements for each level.
Technical Systems Analyst I Overview
The Technical Systems Analyst I is responsible for performing systems analysis, data analysis, maintenance, and production support within the organization's IT Systems and Infrastructure environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading LAN hardware and software to ensure optimal performance. The analyst will also troubleshoot problem areas and provide end-user assistance where required. The analyst will work on small projects and moderate problems and tasks.
Essential Duties:
- Performs Active Directory administration
- Performs some Exchange tasks, including but not limited to creating user mailboxes
- Provisions users for Citrix
- Creates user accounts
- Troubleshoots simple to moderate LAN hardware and software problems
- Works tickets with a focus on meeting or exceeding service level agreements
- Installs and configures software and hardware
- Logs into Help Desk phone queue and takes support calls
- Creates ticket on calls and resolves them, or passes ticket on to appropriate team
- May perform other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Intermediate knowledge of LAN hardware/software installation and troubleshooting
- Intermediate knowledge of MS operating systems
- Ability to multi-task and work within time constraints
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The skills necessary to understand of complex automated systems
- Ability to work simple to moderate problems independently
Required Education and Experience:
- Highschool Diploma
- 4+ years of related experience
- 1 year of IT experience
- Or equivalent military experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of related experience

Technical Systems Analyst II Overview
The Technical Systems Analyst II is responsible for performing various tasks related to the organization's IT systems and infrastructure, including systems analysis, data analysis, maintenance, and production support. This individual will install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade LAN hardware and software, troubleshoot problem areas, and provide end-user assistance. The Technical Systems Analyst II will work on medium to large projects and moderate to complex problems and tasks.
Essential Duties
- Assists Seniors and Leads with administration for client computing devices and company systems
- Performs Active Directory and Azure Active Directory administration
- Performs patch management of Microsoft and other third-party applications
- Assists with building custom installation software packages, that are scripted and coded to install automatically
- Assist with developing automated scripts to collect software and hardware inventory information of client computers
- Applies custom built registry changes as needed
- Deploys emergency security changes when needed to all client computers
- Develops and builds custom built computer images
- Creates and maintains hardware driver library
- Assists with developing post imaging automation scripts for computer deployment
- Installs and configures software and hardware
- Logs into Help Desk phone queue and takes support calls
- Creates ticket on calls and resolves them, or passes ticket on to appropriate team
- Works tickets with a focus on meeting or exceeding service level agreements
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of LAN hardware/software installation and troubleshooting
- Advanced knowledge of MS operating systems
- Advanced knowledge in the following areas: software packaging and deployment, patch management, and PC image creation and deployment
- Ability to multi-task and work within time constraints
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The skills necessary to understand complex automated systems
- Ability to work moderate to complex problems independently
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of IT experience
- Or, equivalent military experience
Preferred Education and Experience
- 2 or more years of experience in Desktop Support/LAN Support, DevOps, or related role, with 2 years works related experience as a Technical Systems Analyst
Working Conditions for a Technical Systems Analyst I or II (Physical Demands):
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, read, hear, talk, for long periods of time
- Ability to carry and move equipment (50lbs), kneel, push/pull, bend/stoop, reach, crouch, grasp, turn, climb, crawl, use color recognition and depth perception
- Repetitive motion is required for this position
- This position occasionally requires on call duties
- This position seldom requires travel
