In this role you will:

A Technical Support Specialist at Actabl Administers and maintains software infrastructures and applications. Collaborates with Application Developers and Software Engineers in the design and development new applications and improvement of existing applications. Runs application testing on designed programs, and provides accurate, quality analyses of new program applications.


Typical Functions:

  • Locates potential problems, diagnoses application errors, devises or modifies procedures to solve them in an efficient manner considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, and provides database management support.
  • Implements required and approved software applications, and assures the processes required for the business to operate and succeed are running smoothly.
  • Develops diagrams and flow charts for computer programmers to follow.
  • Prepares reports on the program; writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections; creates any needed instruction manuals or help screens describing installation and operating procedures; and maintains documentation as necessary for operational and security audits.
  • Trains and supports the staff on using the applications.
  • Keeps up to date with software and technology trends in the field.
  • Other duties or functions may be assigned.
Requirements
  • Beginner to Intermediate SQL
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-2 years of experience in customer service or a technical role in a SaaS company
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Nice to have: experience working in a hospitality or other service industry
  • Nice to have: experience supporting customers at a software company
  • Nice to have: additional languages are always a plus
