The Opportunity:

Your role at Sephora:

Reporting to the Director of DC Systems Engineering, As a Sr.Solution Architect for our Warehouse/DC Systems Engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring Sephora's distribution centers (DCs) maximize the potential of Warehouse Management solutions.

 

Your responsibilities include implementing cutting-edge Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Systems for Sephora DC’s across the Americas region. You will be at the forefront of designing top-notch & best in class solutions using a suite of products in the Warehouse Management space, as well as implement new technologies such as Auto Store, Good to Pick & Pick to Lite systems and Warehouse Automation using Robotic systems.

 

As the primary technical interface collaborating with Product & Engineering, QE teams, and 3rd Party Consultants, your focus will be on driving Solution Design, Interfaces, and optimizing Blue Yonder Warehouse Management software solutions. Your close partnership with the Director of DC Systems & Production Engineering team will ensure the execution of defined strategies. Building strong relationships with DC operations, leadership, stakeholders, and partners in Product Management, Design, QA, and Project Management will be crucial to achieving team success. Demonstrate our Sephora values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative.

 

Key Qualifications:

 

  • 10-12 years in-depth experience in Warehouse Management Systems in developing , extending JDA, Blue Yonder Warehouse Management.
  • 7+ years of In-depth experience with new versions of WMS/Blue Yonder integrating with advanced Warehouse Automation systems such as Goods to Person, Pick to Light, Pick to order and AI based picking systems.
  • In-depth experience with Retail warehouse business processes is strongly desired.
  • Prior experience with newer Blue Yonder JDA WMS systems (2020 version & above) is a must.
  • Strong understanding of Distribution/Warehouse integrations with ERPs such as SAP desired.
  • Must have done Technical solutions design, configurations and hands-on coding expertise in JDA WMS, MOCA, PL/SQL, Java in a fast-paced dynamic enviroment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Transportation Management systems/Processes with WMS systems desired.
  • Experience with modern coding programs like Java,Java Script,HTML, Page Builder etc desired. Understanding how web APIs work and integrate with WMS/MHE/WES is strongly needed.
  • Knowledge of Web UIs and developing them on Blue Yonder WMS desired.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML and using them for Warehouse functional usage will be good to have.
  • Experience working with DBA’s to optimize & fine tune the performance of MOCA commands and JDA Code

 

Success Criteria for this Role:

  • Design solutions for the requests in Warehouse functions, automations and new systems and ensure they deliver required results.
  • Act as a hands-on Technical Solutions Architect, leading by example to enhance JDA WMS functionality tailored to Sephora’s DC Operations requirements.
  • Concentrate on DC Automation by leveraging new technologies like Robotic picking, new WES & WMS systems to boost the efficiency of DCs for Dotcom & Retail Picking.
  • Establish coding standards, peer code reviews & best practices for Supply Chain Engineering Teams and craft top-tier WMS Systems to support dotcom & retail operations
  • Utilize new technologies such as AI/ML, Big Data to deliver timely information to DCs regarding DC pick/pack productivity Reporting and Retail Pack Factor enhancements.

 

The annual base salary range for this position is $152,010.00 - $168,900.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.  Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.  Sephora offers a generous benefits package to full-time employees, which includes comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a superior 401(k) plan, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and an employee referral bonus program.
