We’re looking for a Technical Senior Manager to support our Cloud Services team.
This can be a remote position (must be located in the United States).

What You'll Do

  • Support thought leadership activities (blog/white papers/webinars)
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • People manager for multiple engineers
  • Work with other departments to determine technical and compliance solutions and implementations.
  • Help to solve technical and services challenges the customers are experiencing.
  • Mentor and train staff.
  • Provide quality assurance and validation/testing/QA for staff’s work.
  • Ensure that the client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met related to availability, response, and posture.
  • Work with Site Reliability and Security Engineers to identify and raise awareness of impacting vulnerabilities, bugs and/or issues, and drive the appropriate prioritization for fixes and/or responses.
  • Participate in defining, planning, and documenting key Managed Services projects and initiatives, and track the progress of initiative outcomes against goals.
  • Support the process of hiring and development of personnel to both fit current needs and also allow scalability with client growth.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience managing teams of 4-8 individuals.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective documentation skills, to include technical diagrams and written descriptions.
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • Demonstrated relationship management and ability to work with C-Suite
  • Project management experience for individual and team projects (ability to track detailed tasks and ensure timely delivery)
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment.
  • 1-3 years directly supporting at least one of the following cloud IaaS providers: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Vulnerability management experience. (Inventory scanning, reporting etc.)
  • BS or above in related Information Technology field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Bonus Points

  • Previous experience mentoring or managing consultants or engineers in a professional service organization.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC, HITRUST, etc.
  • Familiarity with configuration baseline standards such as CIS Benchmarks & DISA STIG
  • Familiarity with Jira or other ITSM ticketing systems.

At Coalfire, equal opportunity and pay equity is integral to the way we do business. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role is $94,000 to $163,000 based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
