We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional software development projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and the ability to manage projects efficiently using industry-standard tools and methodologies. This role involves collaborating with technical teams, stakeholders, and management to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and product owners, to achieve project goals.
  • Oversee the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and ensure adherence to Agile or other relevant methodologies.
  • Maintain and optimize JIRA workflows, track project progress, and generate actionable reports.
  • Manage all security and legal audit request fulfillments.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth execution and delivery.
  • Generate comprehensive project status reports and dashboards to inform stakeholders and leadership.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in technical project management, ideally within a software development or SaaS environment.
  • Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, particularly JIRA, and experience in configuring workflows and generating reports.
  • Experience conducting security audits and ensuring project compliance with security standards.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working across business units with other TPMS

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with industry security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in other project management tools (e.g. Figma, Zen Desk) and reporting software.
  • Background in software development or a technical field is a plus.
  • Experience managing projects involving payments.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CSM) or equivalent experience.

Where: This position is a remote/hybrid position located in the US or Canada.
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
