Non-CA Pay Range (Annual):

$144,900.00 - $269,100.00

At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for equity grants, discretionary bonuses, or commission payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company’s incentive plans, the Company’s financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.

As a Technical Program Manager for the Technical Operations Dept. in Global Services and Support, you will identify potential issues, provide direct escalation management, and make strategic decisions based on balancing the needs of the business and technical constraints. Strong decision making, communication skills, the ability to influence both internally and externally within the organization, technical breadth and depth, and leadership are essential. Responsibilities include working across the GS&S organization to define strategy and requirements, identifying and securing commitment from the Product Mgmt., Engineering, and Manufacturing teams across the company to drive customer initiatives, setting timelines, and leading cross-functional teams from design through delivery.

Education & Experience Necessary for Success:

  • At least five years of Technical Program Management experience
  • At least 15 years’ experience in Software and/or Hardware companies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience with the product development life cycle process
  • Technical depth and breadth of layer 1 networking products and possess the ability to provide issue replication and troubleshooting
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize technical and business requirements, scope technical requirements, manage multiple product integration efforts, and coordinate product launch.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional, cross-organization teams to define and create project plans, secure commitments on deliverables, and resolve gating issues.
  • Experience in customer management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure

The current processing time for an export control license is approximately 4 to 6 months.
