As a Technical Program Manager, you will help support the DevX Portfolio team’s core objective of driving operational excellence across the DevX organization. You will have the opportunity to partner with portfolio managers, scrum masters, service leads, technical teams, leadership, and other technical program managers to drive the highest-priority strategic programs in DevX to completion.
Job Description
Note: This fully remote role is open to qualified candidates currently residing in the United States who are able to work and attend meetings during typical Eastern Time Zone business hours. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role now or in the future.
As part of the Comcast TPX DevX Portfolio team, you are a vital member of the Comcast Cable GTO organization. Our team is integral to the very fabric of the DevX organization, in that most of our customers are our own DevX teammates. Our team focuses on aligning our internal DevX organization operations and delivering our large, cross-cutting programs across TPX. We support DevX’s many efforts through strategic planning and portfolio management, driving consistency across the organization to create a seamless, positive experience for the teams that run our services and platforms. We are seeking a passionate, self-directed technical program manager to help support our internal DevX organization operations, particularly strategic program delivery.
What you will do
As a Technical Program Manager, you will help support the DevX Portfolio team’s core objective of driving operational excellence across the DevX organization. You will have the opportunity to partner with portfolio managers, scrum masters, service leads, technical teams, leadership, and other technical program managers to drive the highest-priority strategic programs in DevX to completion.
Some of your Core Responsibilities will include:
- Build and run cross-functional projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery, great communications, and excellent quality
- Develop detailed project artifacts, including project plans, stakeholder maps, and communication plans
- Identify, manage, and communicate risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering teams and leaders inside and outside DevX
- Collaborate with teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Monitor and report on project progress, financials, and resources
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide comprehensive project reports to senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Participate in and support efforts to cultivate the culture of the DevX Portfolio team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
What you will bring
If you have some or all the following, please apply:
- 4+ years of relevant experience managing technical projects from inception to completion
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on technical projects
- Ability to work on program assignments with moderate guidance and little assistance
- Moderate to strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle
- Familiarity with Agile principles and project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on technical projects
- Proficiency in using technical project management software, such as Jira
- Leadership, organization, communication, time management, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues
- Team player attitude
- Passion for adding to team culture
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in building influence and strong partnerships across a large organization with many cross-functional stakeholders
- Formal training, such as the Google Project Management Certificate, PMP, SAFe, or equivalent

National Pay Range: $75,886.27 USD-$177,858.45 USDComcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
