Your mission is to manage and optimize our communication infrastructure, providing a seamless experience for our users and ensuring the stability and efficiency of our systems.

In this position, you will contribute to multiple areas:

As a Technical Product Infrastructure Manager:

  • Manage and maintain the corporate web server to ensure high performance and security.
  • Administer and optimize the company’s WordPress site to enhance user experience.
  • Manage Mautic as an email marketing platform, ensuring effective communication with our users.
  • Implement and maintain technical tools to optimize user communication.
  • Develop and improve mini online tools using frameworks like Laravel or Symfony (preferred).
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to streamline and improve technical communication processes.
  • Ensure the security, efficiency, and stability of the technical communication infrastructure.

As a Team Member:

  • Build strong internal relationships to align technical infrastructure with the company’s communication goals.
  • Collaborate with your team to address challenges and meet objectives efficiently.
  • Work closely with different departments to brainstorm and develop a variety of technical solutions.

Long story, short: What will your first days at Metricool look like?

First month: During the first few weeks, you’ll familiarize yourself with the team, processes, and infrastructure. You’ll understand the business impact of your role and meet key contributors across departments.

First quarter: By the end of your first three months, you’ll have a strong understanding of your responsibilities, work autonomously, and begin suggesting and implementing improvements to our infrastructure.

To the moon: After the initial period, you’ll become an integral part of the team, aligning your strategies with the company's goals to drive communication efficiency and technical success.

Job requirements. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

Experience: At least 2 years in similar roles managing web servers, WordPress, and email marketing tools.

Education: A degree in a technical field is preferred.

Languages: Advanced English (B2/C1 level preferred) and Spanish.

Hard skills:

  • Proficiency in PHP and experience with frameworks like Symfony (preferred) and Laravel.
  • Technical expertise in managing WordPress websites and web servers.
  • Knowledge of Mautic or similar email marketing platforms (preferred).

Soft skills:

  • Self-management skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments and explain technical solutions.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.

Location: The candidate must be based in Spain.

Hiring Process:

  1. First interview (30 minutes): Get to know each other better, explore the company culture, and discuss your background. This will be conducted by Horten.
  2. Second interview (1 hour): Meet Víctor, our CPO, for a role-play exercise and to evaluate your fit within the company (be prepared to bring your favorite service or product).
