We are seeking an media-focused Technical Producer / Program Manager with a experience working with multidisciplinary, global teams in order to bring new immersive technologies to life in a fast-paced environment. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires expertise in technical content production as well as experience leading technical software initiatives and skills in clear communication and influential leadership. The right candidate will help structure new programs, projects, and content in alignment with roadmaps, ensure prioritization with cross-functional alignment, build detailed milestones and execution plans, ensure end-to-end delivery while providing updates through transparent and concise communication.Technical Producer / Program Manager - Metaverse Entertainment Responsibilities
  • Set and communicate vision and principles for the successful creation and execution of products and experiences, with user experience always front of mind.
  • Work under your own initiative with Meta teams and partners on complex, cross-functional program plans (requirements, milestones, schedules) in a matrix organization spanning engineering (software), product, user experience, and content.
  • Work with Meta teams and partners, develop end-to-end execution plans for on-time milestone delivery for products and experiences. Track, analyze, and communicate to develop and execute against partnership goals.
  • Collaboratively build technical and production roadmaps, proactively identifying technical dependencies, constraints, risks with mitigation strategies, align on priorities, and chart the execution path for delivery.
  • Drive difficult conversations with cross-functional partner teams for alignment and delivery.
  • Communicate planning, program status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders. Distill complex topics and updates into clear and concise communications to program stakeholders and executive management. Effectively influence key partners to align with project goals and support needs.
  • Participate in external client meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience as a lead in technical production creative technology industries focused on media and entertainment (e.g., VFX).
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in creative technology or the technology industry leading and managing technical software programs.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through technical production & product development lifecycles.
  • Experience in navigating through ambiguity, driving timely decisions, and communicating effectively to diverse groups (technical and non-technical).
  • Experience building and shipping 0→1 projects from inception to delivery.
  • Experience prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience producing and delivering stereoscopic video.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in stereoscopic video formats and production.
  • Past experience developing content that mixes video with interactive elements.
  • Past experience developing MR/VR software products for Meta Quest.

$154,000/year to $217,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
