Your Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Technical Marketing Manager to join our burgeoning team at New Relic. As a crucial member of our marketing department, you will expand upon the foundational strategies of our technical marketing efforts and spearhead initiatives that showcase our product offerings. This role offers you an opportunity to influence major product storytelling and drive the development of our demo strategies. With your expertise, you'll contribute to the advancement and effectiveness of our technical marketing operations.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and Execute Technical Marketing Materials: Lead the creation and optimization of technical artifacts including high-impact demo scripts, videos, and visuals, ensuring clarity and engagement for diverse technical audiences.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with product marketing and engineering teams to align technical requirements and messaging for maximum market impact.
- Refine Demo Platforms: Provide key insights and technical requirements to the demo engineering team, ensuring our demo platforms are cutting-edge and effectively highlight product strengths.
- Enhance Long-term Strategy: Play an instrumental role in refining our long-term demo strategy, supporting organizational objectives, and ensuring alignment with market demands.
- Mentor Junior Team Members: Guide and assist junior members in the team, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.
This Role Requires
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in technical marketing or a closely related field.
- Strong technical proficiency, with a robust understanding of technologies such as microservices, Kubernetes, and hypervisor hosting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex technical information into concise marketing materials.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and deliver results.
- Additional certifications or coursework in technical communications or marketing analytics.
- Familiarity with New Relic’s suite of products and services.

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
