Technical Estimator

WCS Group, one of the leading providers of water treatment solutions, is seeking a Technical Estimator to produce high quality, high volume technical remedial quotes to support the needs of our growing business.

This is a newly created role within a well-established team of 3x Technical Estimators, 1x Bid Manager, 1x Bid Admin Executive, 6x Sales Desk Executives and 1x Team Leader.

Location - Remote (occasional travelling to regional offices may be required.)

Duties

• Produce high-quality remedial quotes on the back risk assessment reports and recommendations in line with the HSG274 Part 2 guidance (The control of legionella bacteria in hot and cold water systems), using our internal CRM tool called ‘Gold-Vision’.
• Produce remedial quotes on the back of internal WCS reports/ engineer recommendations i.e. defects, DAS/ Best cards produced via the WCS ‘WAVE’ system.
• Proactively approach Account Managers with reference to completed risk assessment reports that may require quoting.
• Proactively review your quote pipeline and liaise with the relevant Sales Teams to build rapport and increase sales.
• Internal price list and training will be provided.

Key Performance Indicators / Measure of Success

• Quarterly commission capped at 0.5% of the total completed and invoiced jobs during each Financial Quarter.
• Achievement of internal SMART sales targets (does not affect commission claims).
• Internal satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will;

• Have strong understanding of the Water Hygiene and Water Treatment industry.
• Be competent in understanding the needs of compliance services provided to our customers.
• Possess strong attention to detail and great numeracy skills.
• Be a good communicator and a team-player.
• Be confident with using Word and Excel.
• Previous experience with Remedials/ Account Management/ Water Hygiene/ Water Treatment/ Engineering Field is desirable.
• Previous experience using WCS systems/ processes would be advantageous.
