A Technical Artist is the key to bridging the gaps between artists and engineers. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Artist Lead to join our Metaverse Technical Art team. In this role, you'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of artists and engineers to enhance the delight, representation, and appeal of our Avatars across the Metaverse.

- Drive technical art efforts in close partnership with artists, engineers, and product managers to deliver high quality visual content within performance budgets.
- Collaborate with artists and engineers to develop and implement high-quality real-time shaders and rendering techniques.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members, educating partners on topics around shading and rendering.
- Help coordinate strategy, priorities, and execution across multiple simultaneous projects
- Identify opportunities for the team to enhance workflows and improve products via the creation of tools and systems within our proprietary pipeline and engine
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in real-time rendering.
- Demonstrated expertise at understanding inner workings of a real-time game engine, specifically graphics pipeline.
- Experience with game/real-time profiling and optimization techniques.
- Experience shipping products in a professional environment with stringent runtime performance constraints.
- Experience working on multiple platforms.
- Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, producers, and artists.
- Experience in real-time content authoring (characters/environments/VFX/animation/lighting).
- Experience with shader languages (GLSL, ShaderLab, HLSL).
- Proven communication and collaboration skills.
- Consistently prioritizing and staying informed about emerging technologies.
- Proven product thinking experience.
- Proven adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Proven experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
