Technical Artist, Metaverse
Burlingame, CA | New York, NY | Remote, US
- Partner closely with the engineering and design teams to develop content across a range of devices.
- Implement runtime logic within a complex real-time environment with performance limitations in mind.
- Quickly solve issues with cross-functional leads.
- Design, manage and maintain the pipeline from artists and end users through to deployment.
- Prototype, profile and optimize custom shaders.
- Demonstrated expertise with at least one of the following pipelines: Procedural Generation, Environments, or Asset Pipeline.
- Experience with architecture for complex tools and pipelines with a focus on content creators.
- 7+ years of experience developing real-time experiences.
- Experience in shader languages (GLSL, ShaderLab, HLSL).
- Experience with game/real-time profiling and optimization techniques.
- Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience working with version control systems (Git, Perforce, etc.).
- Expertise in at least one high-level programming language.
- Experience driving strategy and communicating clear goals and outcomes to your team.
- Expertise to assist in a wide variety of technical and artistic tasks, including diagnosing and fixing bugs.
- Deep knowledge of real-time graphics pipeline concepts.
- Machine learning, and/or Generative AI workflows.
- Low-level programming experience.
