About the Role:

Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Serve as the partner with various finance and business teams to ensure they are provided accurate accounting guidance to drive the business forward. Key areas of responsibility include research, interpretation, and practical application of accounting guidance for new and existing accounting standards and proper execution of key SOX controls.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform accounting due diligence on potential merger and acquisition targets.
  • Analyzes impact of new accounting standards, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards on existing and new transactions.
  • Research accounting issues and prepare recommendations for management and audit support papers.
  • Lead valuation efforts over acquired assets and liabilities.
  • Present information and respond to questions effectively from managers and other internal stakeholders.
  • Draft position papers addressing the accounting for significant transactions, including VIEs, business combinations, and several other types of transactions.
  • Assist in the review of new contracts to determine the appropriate accounting treatment (revenue, equity transaction, sale criteria, or other considerations).
  • Complete special projects and prepare analyses for senior management requiring technical accounting research and analysis of financial information.
  • Ensure proper execution of key SOX controls, including coordination with internal and external auditors.•
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • CPA required
  • 5+ years of accounting experience required
  • SEC reporting, FDICIA and SOX experience desired
  • 2 years of related work experience, with Big 4 public accounting experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP
  • Communication (written & verbal)
  • Attention to detail
  • Financial acumen

Salary range:  $69,098.54 – $127,614.10

The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
