Technical 3D Designer

No coding experience is required. Just design, publish, measure and monetize.

The role

Infinite Reality is seeking a talented Technical 3D Designer to join the Infinite Reality Enterprise team. This is a remote position within the continental US, and you'll report directly to Rabih Chahab, 3D Design Team Lead. You’ll play a crucial role in crafting intuitive and immersive digital experiences, supporting our journey to make the Internet more fun, imaginative, and immersive. As part of our mission, you'll collaborate with our design and engineering teams to create interfaces that are both visually compelling and highly functional for a range of clients across fashion, beauty, sports, entertainment, travel and more. 

What you’ll do

• Storyboards & Moodboards: Create mood boards, mockups and storyboards to illustrate design concepts and experience layouts. Utilize user research and feedback to iteratively improve designs and enhance the user experience.
• Design Development: Lead the design and development of intuitive and immersive experiences across a variety of platforms. Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and the creative team to translate requirements into highly functional and visually stunning 3D immersive experiences.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the creative and 3D design teams to ensure the design meets both the client expectations and best practices of our platform. Participate in design reviews with cross-functional project team and client team to iterate and move design progress forward.
• Technical Design Advancement: Work closely with 3D design team, product and engineering to advance our realtime design capabilities on Enterprise experience platform. 

What you’ll bring

• Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in relevant visual art or technical fields such as Computer Animation, Graphic Design, or Computer Science.
• 3D Modeling Experience: Extensive experience in 3D modeling of spaces, including visualization, retail design, look development, and interior design.​
• Game Engine Proficiency: Experience authoring assets for game engines, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within interactive environments.​
• Comprehensive CG Knowledge: Solid understanding of graphics techniques, including animation, simulations, compositing, modeling, and rendering.​
• Production Pipeline Insight: Familiarity with video game production pipelines and workflows, facilitating effective collaboration with development teams.​
• Collaborative Skills: Ability to provide technical, creative, aesthetic, and practical input during decision-making processes.​
• Feedback Integration: Capable of accepting criticism and translating feedback into actionable goals, objectives, and design solutions.​
• Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of various file types and codecs relevant to design and development processes.​

We’ll be extra pumped if you have

• Software Expertise: Experience with software tools such as 3ds Max and V-Ray for high-quality modeling and rendering.​
• Real-Time Engine Experience: Proficiency with real-time engines like Unreal Engine and Unity, enabling the creation of interactive and immersive experiences.​
• Web 3D Knowledge: Familiarity with web-based 3D technologies, including Three.js and WebGL, for developing interactive online experiences.
• Programming Skills: Experience with scripting and programming languages such as C/C++, HTML, and JavaScript.​

Base pay will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, certifications, experience, market demands, and locations.
