EVOLVE is seeking a Tech & Cyber Underwriter to join our growing team in Dallas, Texas.

The Tech & Cyber Underwriter will analyze retail broker commercial Technology E&O and Cyber insurance submissions, ensuring they align with underwriting guidelines to accurately rate, quote, and bind both new and renewal policies. Additionally, you’ll build and maintain strong relationships with retail brokers through effective communication, including quality phone calls, emails, and occasional in-person meetings, fostering trust and collaboration.

  

How You Will Contribute:

  • Underwrite and build a book of business, by reviewing applications for acceptable risk levels, cyber security control requirements and profitability.

  • Strive to increases individual bind and retention ratios by completing regular coverage and limit comparisons.

  • Underwrite within Evolve’s designated underwriting authority.

  • Cultivate active retail broker relationships through quality communication and proactive underwriting support.

  • Provide clear instructions, guidance and information to underwriting support.

  • Achieve individual premium and production targets.

  • Achieve quote and workflow management targets.

  • Participate in challenging projects that focus on maintaining leadership in the Tech E&O and Cyber insurance product segment.

  • Participate in one-off specialized underwriting projects, as requested.

  

Skills & Experience to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years of Technology E&O and Cyber Insurance experience or underwriting experience

  • Computer literacy with strong skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Pay Range

$90,000 - $120,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
