  • $15.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support Provide administrative and clerical support as assigned. 
  • Teaching Assistant Assist in the preparation of lesson plans and materials. Support the instructor by providing instruction and guidance to students. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the instructor. Assist with grading and record keeping.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Exhibit work habits reflecting reliability, organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of people while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive and helpful attitude
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Ability to problem solve

Minimum Requirements

  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
  • Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award from the Office of student Finance.
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester
