Job Description

Reporting directly to the Dean of Teaching and Learning, the Teaching and Learning Developer (TLD) creates and delivers development programs and educational materials for the faculty of Chamberlain to promote faculty development. TLDs will guide the growth of faculty with purposeful and effective approaches that promote extraordinary preparation of faculty at undergraduate and graduate levels. TLDs will evaluate the effectiveness of the development programs and provide continuous quality improvement of the teaching/learning materials and modalities as well as develop and maintain communications to the faculty of new initiatives and courses as available. TLDs will lead teams in development and facilitation of programs to support faculty in teaching and learning practices, research and scholarship, and foster personal and professional growth and mentoring.

In this role you will: 

  • Collaborate with campus and program leadership to identify faculty needs and deliver educational offerings to advance the effectiveness and professional development of faculty.
  • Design, implement and evaluate effectiveness of ongoing faculty training and professional development programs such as faculty workshops, seminars, asynchronous learning opportunities and formal education courses.
  • Serve as a resource person and mentor for faculty and program leadership.
  • Drive improved outcomes through monitoring and tracking results against goals and outcomes.
