WORK TYPE: Remote, but needs to be flexible to be in the office for occasional meetings and in-person interviews if based locally.

LOCATION DETAILS: The preferred location of this job is Dallas-Fort Worth, however, working remotely may be considered for a uniquely qualified candidate. 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: There is less than 5% travel required for this position.

PAY RATE: The salary range for this job is $65,000-75,000 annually.

The base salary will vary based on criteria such as education, experience and qualifications of the applicant, location, internal equity, and alignment with the market.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Varsity Brands is looking for a Talent Advisor to join our Talent Acquisition Team. As a member of our Varsity Brands Human Resources Team, you will serve as the recruiting lead and subject matter expert for our corporate division. You will also be involved in recruiting for other departments and functions as needed.

The Talent Advisor is responsible for advising internal stakeholders of how to attract the right talent for the organization and influence internal and external customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Act as a recruiting partner to hiring managers for corporate and high-volume roles while developing and implementing strategic initiatives to recruit a diverse pool of top talent to fill vacancies in the organization.
  • Create a best-in-class experience by maintaining, developing, and establishing effective relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Fast Paced, Full Lifecycle recruiting -- including creating job descriptions, sourcing, interviewing, vetting, and referring candidates to hiring managers, extending offers, and relationship building.
  • Build networks to find qualified passive and active candidates and maintain regular contact for current and future positions.
  • Proactively source and create pipelines of talent via various sourcing methods.
  • Partner with the broader Talent Team to develop and implement best-practice Talent Acquisition strategies.
  • Maintain and achieve recruiting KPIs, including speed, sourcing productivity, and hiring ratios.
  • Maintain applicable records and candidate/new hire data and ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies.
  • Track and record key metrics designed to measure the effectiveness of the recruiting process
  • Consistently utilize recruitment technologies such as ATS and CRM and be adaptable to change within the systems. Adapt quickly to technology enhancements and improvements.
  • Continue to build and promote all Varsity Brands divisions as an employer of choice when representing career opportunities to top talent.
  • Occasionally attend career fairs

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Experience in building, cultivating and sustaining networks of qualified, passive candidates and creating mechanisms to effectively manage a candidate pool.
  • Prior success in applying advanced recruiting fundamentals to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating, and onboarding.
  • Multi-tasking capabilities and a demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while prioritizing to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferably Workday, Phenom, and LinkedIn
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and information with confidentiality
  • Incorporate customer-centric values and SPIRIT principles into the company's mission, vision, and core values.
  • The ability to communicate (listening, writing and verbal) across all levels of an organization efficiently and effectively.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Human Resource related laws and regulations preferred.
  • Must be comfortable with conflict resolution.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required, Associate (or Bachelor) degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience executing full cycle, corporate and high-volume recruiting that includes 2 years of experience working for a recruitment agency.
  • Proven success to effectively communicate (listening, writing and verbal) across all levels of an organization.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and learning new systems/technology with understanding some work is processed manually.
