Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter - Temporary (Remote based in Chicago, IL)

We are currently seeking a Temporary, Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter based in Chicago, IllinoisĀ to join our Talent Acquisition team for a 3-month assignment. Successful applicants will have demonstrated experience managing a full cycle recruiting process, proficiency utilizing applicant tracking systems, and dedicated to ensuring a seamless and inclusive candidate experience.

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the full cycle recruiting process with an emphasis on building strong hiring manager partnerships and excellent candidate experience.
- Work with hiring managers to devise a hiring plan and strategy to hire high-performing talent.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to draft job posts.
- Review, assess and score candidates according to positionās responsibilities and qualifications.
- Conduct phone screens, schedule interviews and complete reference checks.
- Influence hiring teams to monitor and improve candidate experience.
- Actively engage in diversity and inclusion hiring strategies.
- Serve as the liaison between the Company and candidates applying for our positions.
- Research sources to help ensure a steady flow of candidates into our recruiting pipeline and update outreach and sourcing document as needed.
- Keep hiring managers updated on hiring progress and ensuring that candidates move through the process promptly.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Recruiter role.
- Proven experience utilizing applicant tracking systems.
- Strong time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to handle and prioritize competing priorities with minimal guidance.
- Demonstrated initiative, patience, flexibility, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks.
- Business writing and editing ability with strong spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft office
- Willing to work in a hybrid work environmentĀ
