Description

SFI is seeking an experienced Tableau Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in data analysis using Tableau, visualization/dashboarding, agile (scrum) methodologies. As a Tableau SME, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing data dashboards that provide actionable insights to our clients. This role demands a deep understanding of data analytics and excellent collaboration skills.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Tableau Certification, PMP, CSM) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis/dashboarding. Tableau experience is a must. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex dashboarding projects.
  • Agile Methodology: In-depth understanding of agile (scrum) frameworks including experience working in agile teams.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, and other relevant data analytics tools. 
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and database management.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards and reports that meet the business needs of our clients. 
  • Ensure data accuracy, visual appeal, and functionality in all dashboards.
  • Actively participate in agile (scrum) sprints, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products within the sprint timelines.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, provide expert advice on data, dashboarding, best practices, and ensure that delivered solutions meet their expectations. 
  • Foster strong, positive relationships with clients to promote long-term partnerships.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of data analytics to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights. 
  • Ensure that data sources are reliable, and that data is presented in a clear and actionable manner.

  • In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
  • All candidates will be subject to a complete background check to include, but not limited to Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment and Credit History.
  • Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and requires fingerprinting.

Other Information:

  • The salary for this position is $70,000 - $110,000 annually
