Tableau Developer/ BI Analyst

This is a remote position.

Emerge is seeking a Tableau Developer/ BI Analyst for our client, a technology company with a public safety mission.  We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence/Data Analyst with extensive experience in Tableau and SQL to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in Tableau, with a proven ability to develop insightful, actionable data visualizations and dashboards. Strong SQL skills are essential for data extraction and manipulation, enabling the candidate to deliver accurate and timely insights to support business decisions.


Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and trends
  
• Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from large, complex datasets to support analytical requirements
  
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver insightful, data-driven solutions
  
• Conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within the data, providing recommendations to improve business outcomes
  
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards by validating and cleaning data as needed
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, finance, and marketing, to provide actionable insights
  
• Stay updated on new Tableau features and capabilities, and recommend best practices for dashboard optimization and performance improvements
  

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with Tableau, including creating complex dashboards, visualizations, and reporting
  
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, with the ability to write advanced queries to extract and manipulate data
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into business insights
  
• Experience in data validation and ensuring the accuracy of reports and visualizations
  
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a data-driven industry such as finance, marketing, or technology
  
• Familiarity with other BI tools (Power BI, Qlik) or data analysis programming languages (Python, R) is a plus
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  

Work Environment:

• Remote, work from home, based in US Eastern Time Zone
  
• Monday-Friday work week and must work Eastern US office hours
  
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis
  
• Salary range is $65.00 - 70.00/hour plus full benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and PTO
