Systems/Network Administrator

Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.  Visionist has an exciting new, fully FUNDED opportunity for a Systems/Network Administrator on our PRIME contract. You will join a team of 20+ who work together to provide full-lifecycle support to a software application that provides multi-media ingest, storage, query, playback, analysis, and transcription capabilities. This program performs development, pre-production staging, and production maintenance and support activities.   - Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime
  - Manage physical hardware, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting for development network environments
  - Develop and implement automation scripts using Ansible to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  - Configure, manage, and support virtualization platforms such as VMWare, Xen, or Nutanix
  - Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance
  - Work with the ISSO/ISSE team to configure devices to meet STE/STN compliance requirements
  - Administer patches to maintain STE/STN compliance requirements
  - Assist with Windows patching when necessary to maintain a secure and compliant infrastructure Requirements for your new career…
  - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
  - 10 years of experience in systems/network administration
  - Strong Linux System Administration experience
  - Hands-on hardware experience to include rack configuration and maintenance
  - Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMWare, Xen, Nutanix)
  - Network troubleshooting skills
