Systems Integration and Test Engineer

Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Systems Integration and Test Engineer in support of Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Excise Files Information Retrieval System (ExFIRS).

This is a full-time remote opportunity supporting the Internal Revenue Service HQ in Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

• Supporting Excise Files Information Retrieval System (ExFIRS) Configuration Management Control Boards
• Support a variety of O&M activities to include but not limited to routine O&M support for the ExSTARS subsystem and the following ExFIRS components: TCN, LOA, DATA_ADM, Forms 720 TO & CS PS, ODB and DW
• Completing problem responses as necessary in a timely manner
• Supporting Configuration Control Board Meetings as needed
• Support the creation of development and analysis documentation related to software drops, interfaces, test reports, and assessment databases
• Assist in configuration management activities, including developing and maintaining a database or spreadsheet of all application files generated
• Informing risk management, security change management, change requests, and security impact assessments
• Support testing, code reviews, peer and integration testing

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Ability to attain IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)Education: Bachelor's Degree Years of Experience: 10+ years relevant experience  Additional Experience: Familiar with FISMA, NIST, and Internal Revenue Service Manual for Security Compliance

Preferred Qualifications:Clearance: IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) Staff-like AccessEducation: Masters DegreeYears of Experience: 8+
