GENERAL SUMMARY: 

As a senior technical member of the IT Infrastructure Services department, this position will work independently administrating, upgrading, and migrating IT systems and applications in on-prem and cloud environments.  This includes but is not limited to Windows Server 2016+/Linux servers and services, Exchange Online, vSphere, and Cloud services across multiple data centers and remote offices.  Concentrations will pertain to Azure, Exchange Messaging, SaaS platforms, SQL administration, systems and application monitoring, and other critical services.  This position may need to support Cisco WLAN/LAN and VoIP in a limited capacity. This position requires the ability to effectively multitask and handle multiple projects at the same time. In addition, this position will participate in the evaluations of emerging technologies and make recommendations to enhance or augment existing services and environments. This position also serves as a resource for junior staff members. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills, as well as broad infrastructure building and maintenance expertise.

Position Duties & Functions:

Work independently to install, configure, migrate, administer, and effectively troubleshoot Windows systems, Azure services, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and a myriad of cloud-based SaaS platforms.

Provide maintenance, performance management, and capacity planning on network, system, and application utilization.

Work with application vendors/partners to isolate, diagnose and resolve technical application and/or network issues across the enterprise.

Act as a project lead to research, scope, plan, implement and document technical IT Infrastructure projects end-to-end within your team.  Additionally, act as a primary technical resource for business line related projects.

Coordinate the implementation of approved changes for IT infrastructure and assists with maintaining Change Management documentation. 

Must exhibit initiative to bring projects to fruition with minimal supervision and within reasonable timeframe in a fast-paced environment.

Act as a technical lead for a group of System Administrators.  Serve as a resource and top tier support for junior staff members.

Review vendor and security alerts and maintain relevant patches and fixes on vulnerable systems. 

Assists with after-hours system failures, emergencies and DR exercises.  Within reason.  Maintains availability for such emergencies at all times, except while on PTO, via CFCU-issued iPhone

Create and update IT documentation as needed. 

Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:

  • 5+ years supporting Windows Server 2016+, including an understanding of various Windows Server Roles
  • 5+ years supporting & managing Exchange on-prem/Online environments
  • 4+ years supporting & managing VMware, Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud and SaaS platforms
  • 4+ years supporting TCP/IP networks, including DHCP & DNS
  • VoIP experience desirable
  • Microsoft, Cloud and/or other Server/Network certifications preferred
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices & ServiceNow preferred
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated qualifications.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

  • Ability to write and speak effectively in English using correct spelling and grammar.
  • Basic math skills including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages using a 10-key.
  • Proficient in the use of basic applications in a Windows-based environment, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Moderate keyboard skills at 40 wpm.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Zone 1: $111,240 - $152,955

Zone 2: $101,228.40 - $139,189.05

Zone 3:  $93,441.60 - $128,482.20

Zone 4: $88,992 - $122,364
