Get to Know The Opportunity:

In this role you will use you experience and knowledge to design, code, implement, and support complex and compliance heavy applications hosted on public cloud.  
 

o   Please Note:  Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE! This position allows 100% remote work from home or allows work to be performed in any of our major office locations with a hybrid schedule.  
 

The Contributions You’ll Make:

• Identify and define and document applications architectures, components and interfaces, design of data model, data/information flows and security design.
• Design, code, implement, and support system and software solutions for java applications in public cloud.
• Assist in migrating and/or maintaining CI/CD pipelines solutions. 
• Provide practical knowledge of technical design alternatives and the implications of each approach, participating or guiding phases of the software development cycle. 
• Provide assistance for the administration, configuration, and overall support of the platform.
• Research and develop potential solutions, including evaluating product capability against internal requirements and/or partner capabilities when needed.
• Work independently on medium-scale and complexity projects or problem-solving exercises.
• Work across the organization with other developers, engineers, and architects to develop solutions. 
• Works collaboratively with other IT and Business functions and adhere to all organizational and IT policies and processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Experience

• Proven ability in programming for Java, Javascript languages and frameworks like Spring and React and typical development tools used for efficient work. 
• Skilled in design of business function, applications, information and infrastructure architectures, coding, testing, debugging and maintaining components of information applications.  
• Experience writing script languages in Groovy, Python, PowerShell, bash, Golang, Terraform, Ansible.
• Proven ability of structure analysis and technical design techniques, database and file access methods.
• Extensive hands-on to integrating Maven, Gradle, package managers like NPM and JSPM, build tools to application builds and troubleshooting build issues.
• Proficient in various technical and container stacks Nginx/Apache, node module, Tomcat, Spring boot, Docker, and Ubuntu.
• Experience working with SonarQube, JFROG Artifactory, XRAY, GitHub/Bit Bucket/GitLab, and SecOps tools like Synk is required.
• Working experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS and Azure).  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, frequently collaborating with multiple teams for solutions support debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a directly related field.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya may offer incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
