This Systems Analyst position will engage in the day to day support of Workday Financials modules and the implementation of new Workday financial modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. Additionally, this role will partner with a team of Workday architects and admins, while managing the enhancement and long-term development of the platform.This person will,
Engage collaboratively with Finance business partners, lead functional configuration/design analysis with cross-functional teams and translate them into technical specifications.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Workday Financials, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Identify opportunities for Workday system optimization, process improvement, and automation to enhance overall efficiency.
Design, develop, and deliver functional Workday solutions relating to Workday Financials
Troubleshoot system issues in a complex financial environment.
Cross-train with team members to ensure knowledge transfers.
Develop ad-hoc self-service reports, analytics, and dashboards.
Manage the JIRA board and the Finance backlog grooming as required.
Requirements
Education
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Financial Services or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred
Experience
Less than 2 years Information Technology Required
2-4 years Information Technology with financial systems Preferred
Less than 2 years Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle Methodology Preferred
