The group's main business is the implementation of mission critical digital mobile communication systems for Government & Public Safety Communications customers.This position is a customer on-premises located in Washington D.C.
Job Description
This position is responsible for administering and managing telecom circuits for the communications program. The successful candidate will: process, audit, analyze, organize and correct telecommunications bills; check for accuracy, review for unusual charges, validate discounting and ensure charges to departments are correct; monitor disconnect of unused lines and circuits. This position reports to the on-site Sr. Mgr. Field Service Team.
- Under direction of the USSS Radio Team and in cooperation with the EIS Circuit Team, coordinate operations to include order/initiate provisioning, execute decommissioning, and track the status of the appropriate voice circuits, data circuits, and POTS lines on time and in accordance with USSS procedures.
- Develop and/or maintain a spreadsheet of all circuits, both installed, on order, awaiting disconnect or under decommissioning that includes information such as site identifiers, site name, coordinates, address, lessor, lessor’s POC, circuit type, circuit ID, circuit A and Z ends, circuit provider(s), and circuit provider(s) POCs.
- Consult with Sales, Program Manager, Sr. Field Service Team Manager, and the SI team to set strategy, direction and implementation
- Prepare technical briefings, white papers, financial analysis, business cases, independent research, and prepare technical analysis and recommendations.
- Perform strategic planning, and develop near-term, mid-term, and long-term implementation plans.
- Utilization of IT Service Now System to manage and route tickets for work received or requested.
- Process transitions from one contract (i.e. Networx) to the new EIS contract.
- Oversee the transition from legacy circuits to the new EIS circuits with oversight and management from the Government.
- Assist with daily financial transactions, assist the program office with maintaining the budget, prepare requisitions, track, and respond to financial data calls.
- Assist the program office with the development and preparation of procurement packages.
- Track organization-wide metrics on the state of project management, project delivery, and the value being provided to the business, and assess the general project delivery environment on an ongoing basis to determine the improvements that have been made.
- Work collaboratively and builds relationships with other colleagues, customers, and third party service professionals.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts
- Must be willing to obtain a DHS Public Trust Clearance
- The role entails providing on-premises support to our valued customers in Washington D.C.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
- The base salary range for this position in Washington D.C. is $75,000 - $100,000.
This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.

Basic Requirements
- High School/GED AND 1+ years experience in one of the following: IP Networking, Network Engineering, Business Analysis, Administration, Spreadsheet Manipulation, Circuits, Telecommunications or Military
- Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract(s)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
